WIE ZIJN WIJ?
Seagull is één van de laatste traditionele visrokerijen in Brugge (België) en ook één van de oudste, met origines van de eerste visrokerij die terug gaan tot het jaar 1859.
Vandaag is Seagull uitgegroeid tot een modern bedrijf met meer dan 2000m2 aan productieruimte, strategisch gelegen in Brugge op de grens tussen de belangrijke visroutes van Noord & Zuid Europa.
Seagull is één van de marktleiders in het segment van de gerookte pelagische visproducten met het nationale merk Appetit en ook met huismerken in de retail.
In the last couple of years, Seagull has made vast efforts to reduce waste by installing structural recycling methods for carton & polystyrene.
The installation of a waste water treatment system ensures Seagull that all used and polluted water is treated & cleaned before having it released back in the sewerage network.
Lately, alternative natural energy sources such as wind & solar energy were adressed by allowing a wind turbine to be installed next to the factory & by filling the factory's roof in 2017 with more than 45 solar panels.
The next challenge is to find alternative sustainable packagings for our finished goods.
